Healing Recipes: Turmeric Ginger Tea
Turmeric's anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties make it a valuable ingredient in healing recipes
- Ingredients:
- 2 cups water
- 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1-inch piece of fresh ginger root, thinly sliced
- 1 tablespoon honey (or more to taste)
- Juice of half a lemon (optional)
- A pinch of black pepper (to enhance curcumin absorption)
Instructions:

In a small saucepan, bring the water to a simmer over medium heat.

Add the sliced turmeric and ginger to the water, and let it simmer for about 10 minutes.

Strain the tea into mugs, discarding the turmeric and ginger pieces.
