Ingredients
- 3 medium carrots, chopped
- 1 teaspoon Aryaa A2 Ghee
- ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
- ¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg
- ½ teaspoon ground ginger (or fresh grated ginger)
- 2 cups water or vegetable broth
- Pinch of salt
- Optional: 1 small apple, peeled and chopped or a few raisins
- Optional garnish: a few strands of Saffron
Instructions
- Build the base
In a pot, warm Aryaa A2 Ghee over low heat. Add cinnamon, nutmeg, and ginger, and gently toast for about 30 seconds until aromatic. - Add chopped carrots and apple or raisins if using. Stir to coat with the spices.
- Pour in water or vegetable broth and bring to a gentle simmer. Cook for about 20 minutes, or until carrots are very soft.
- Blend until smooth and creamy, adjusting consistency as desired.
- Taste and adjust salt or sweetness if needed.
- Serve warm, optionally garnished with a few strands of Saffron.
